Mr. Kenneth William Lesher age 77 of Pickeral Lake, Newaygo, Michigan Formerly of Wheaton, IL died Tuesday August 21, 2001 at his residence in Pickeral Lake, Newaygo.   He was born Kenneth William Lesher in Wadsworth , Ohio the son of Maude A. (Blanken) and Frank E. Lesher on March 13, 1924. He married Dorothy M. DeSherow on Dec. 10, 1943 in Seattle, WA. He was a Mechanical Engineer for Stanadyne Corporation in Illinois until 1987. He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Fremont. He was a member of Life
Member VFW Post 4249, Newaygo; S.A.E. in Illinois; Newaygo Golf League and Travel League ; Newaygo Hot Shots Golf League; . He was a veteran having served in the Navy during World War II from 03/11/42 to 12/10/58 when he was discharged as a Lt.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM from the McKinley Funeral Homes-Newaygo Chapel, on Friday, August 24, 2001 with Rev. Norman Heintz officiating . Interment in Newaygo Cemetery. Military Graveside Honors under the auspices of the Newaygo VFW Post 4249 Visitation Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral chapel. Memorials: ACS Newaygo County Chapter or the Fremont Area Foundation for Hospice of MI, Newaygo County.
