Mr. Frank Joseph Simons, age 87 of Newaygo , Michigan died Thursday November 28, 2002 at his residence in Newaygo . He was born Frank Joseph Simons in Grand Rapids, Michigan the son of Frances Simons and Gordon Saunders on November 14, 1915. He married Casmara Staikitis on April 2, 1938 in Grand Rapids and she preceded him in death on June 9, 1969. He was a Power Operator for Consumers Energy Company until 1973. He was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, in Newaygo. He was a Charter& Life member of Croton American Legion Post #381. He was a Past Croton Township Clerk. He was a veteran having served in the Army during World War II from 07/26/45 to 11/02/45 when he was discharged as a Private.
