Gone home to Glory! Mrs. Pauline Mae Doane departed this life on Sunday, January 5, 2003, due to accidental injuries. Born April 25, 1924 to Julia (Stark) and Arthur Brisbin in Trent, she was a life long resident of the Ravenna and Casnovia areas. She married Clarence Doane on April 13, 1950 in Trent and he preceded her in death in January 1982. Survived by six children:

Pauline loved people, kids in particular, and taught in many of the surrounding school systems for 25 years. She also loved her God and her church, faithfully teaching Sunday School for over 50 years. Although we know she's a better place, with no more pain, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Following her wishes, Visitation will be held 7-9 PM Tuesday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM Wednesday at North Casnovia Baptist Church with funeral services to be held at 10:00 AM from the North Casnovia Baptist Church, Bailey on Thursday, January 09, 2003 with Pastor Kelly Carlson officiating. Interment in Seaman Cemetery. Memorials: North Casnovia Baptist Church Building Fund.
