Adam J. Pawloski of Croton passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2004, Veteranís Day. He was born Adam John Pawloski in Grand Rapids, the son of Livina (Gates) and Adam M. Pawloski on May 15, 1923. He was a Auto Body Repairman for 17 years as owner/operator of Commerical Auto Painting until 1987.

Adam is survived by his family; soul-mate Stephanie White, his children Bob & Beth Pawloski of Cedar Springs, Barb & Bill Karolkiewicz of Kentwood, Jim Pawloski of Florida, Jerry Pawloski of Grand Rapids, Mary & Bob Thompson of Rockford, Steve & Barb Pawloski of Grand Rapids, Kimberly Stinson of Sparta.  His son, David, whose birthday was November 11th, predeceased him in 1994.  He has 22 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.  Adam also has an extended family that has loved him for years; his buddies, friends and neighbors have all been an instrumental part of his life.

Adam was an Army Air Force pilot in WWII.  He flew the B25 on over 50 missions.  He was a member of the Eagles and the American Legion Post #381.  Adam was an ďavidĒ deer hunter and looked forward to each hunting season with his buddies.  He didnít usually get a deer, but always had a wonderful time.  He loved deeply the people that loved him. According to his wishes, he was cremated. 

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2004 at 2:00 pm at the American Legion Post #381, 6580 Croton Hardy Drive, Newaygo, MI 49337 (P#231-652-7776).  Please join us at this time.  For those who wish, a contribution to the American Legion Post #381 would be appreciated
