Mrs. Maxine B. Hendrickson, age 82 of Bailey, died Sunday, June 27, 2004 at Transitional Health Services near Fremont. She was born Maxine Bertha Harmon in Three Rivers, Michigan the daughter of Gladys Annette (Deckard) and Lester Jay Harmon on March 11, 1922. She married Edward Victor Hendrickson on August 28, 1940 in Kent City, Michigan and he preceded her in death on August 17, 2000. She was a Cook for 10 years for Grant Hospital until 1974. She was a member of North Casnovia Baptist Church. She was a 4H Leader in Muskegon Co. for 25 years and a teacher of Awana at Church for years.

She is survived by her children Nancy & Wayne Kriuthoff of Ravenna, James & Barbara Hendrickson of Lansing, Ruth Ann & Bill Bull of Bailey, Cindy & Pat Lowry of Bailey, 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, Her sisters Betty Henry of Grant, Lois Bodkin of Muncie, IN, brother-in-law Elwyn McGrady of Bailey, sisters-in-law Helen Hendrickson of AZ, and Leona & Harry Kirk of Algonac. She preceded in death besides her husband by son Thomas in 1949, granddaughter Chelley Kruithoff in 1979 and 4 brothers Lloyd, Lester Jr., Gordon and Charles.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A M from the North Casnovia Baptist Church, Bailey on Wednesday, June 30, 2004 with Pastor Kelly Carlson officiating. Interment will be in the Seaman Cemetery near Bailey. Visitation will be held 7-9 P. M. Tuesday at the McKinley Grant Chapel and again Wednesday from 10 A. M. until service time at the church.
