Mrs. Viola M. Linderer, age 90 of Newaygo,   died Tuesday, November 16, 2004 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility near Fremont.   She was born Viola Marie Ridderman in Fremont,  the daughter of Henrietta  (Jeurink)  and Herman  Ridderman on January 28, 1914. She married Frederick August Linderer on November17,1937 in Newaygo, and he preceded her in death on March 7, 1994. She was a Homemaker all her life and was a communicant of St. Bartolomew Catholic Church-Newaygo.       

She is survived by her daughters Leida & John Gustafson of New Era, Lila & Charles Cripps of Newaygo, Bonnie & Ron Hansen of Grant, 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law Louise Linderer of Newaygo and son-in-law Arvid Shue of Newaygo. She was preceded in death by daughter Beverly Shue.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A. M from the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Newaygo on Friday, November 19, 2004 with Father Tom Boufford as Celebrant.  Interment will be in the St. Bartholomew Cemetery.   Visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9 P. M. Thursday at the Church with the Scripture Service at 8:00 P. M.  For Memorials please consider the Beverly Shue Scholarship C/O Newaygo Public Schools.
