Mrs. Aurora M. Maki, age 89 of Bailey, died Thursday, December 22, 2005 at Fountainview Retirement Village in Grant. She was born Aurora Marie Pietila in Paavola, Michigan the daughter of Mary (Paavola) and Emil Pietila on September 21, 1916. She married George Emanuel Maki on August 7, 1937 in Ravenna and he preceded her in death on September 22, 1980. She was a Homemaker all her life. She was a member of First Reformed Church of Ravenna and of Women's Christian Temperance Union.

She is survived by her son Arnold Maki of Conklin, grandchildren George Maki, Lyle & Kim Maki, Clinton & JoAnn Maki, Ronda & Brian Smith, great-grandchildren Kelly, Kyle, Kala, Daniell, Blake, Connor, Justin. brother John & JoAnn Pietila, sister Florence & LaVern De Forest, several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P. M. from the First Reformed Church of Ravenna, on Monday, December 26, 2005 with Pastor Kevin Schutt officiating. Interment will be in the Seaman Cemetery near Bailey. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. For Memorials please consider the First Reformed Church of Ravenna.
