Mrs. Dorothy M. Dill, aged 82 of Grant, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on February 04, 2005. Born Dorothy Mae Stream on December 26, 1922 to Ernest E. and Cecile G. (Demmon) Stream at Kent City. Dorothy graduated from Grant High School in 1941 and attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL. On May 1, 1946 she married John B. Dill and he preceded her in death on May 20,1992. Her parents and brothers, Dale E., Robert A. and Charles N. Stream also preceded her. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Barbara (James) Hendrickson, Lansing, MI, David Dill, Grant, MI, Robert (Frances) Dill, Ravenna, MI and Terry (William) Van Zanten Grant, MI. Seven grandchildren and eight great grandsons. Her sister, Mary (John) Jordan, Muskegon, MI and in-laws, Helga Stream, Jane Murray and Walter Dill. Nieces, nephews, cousins and special niece Sharon LaCrosse. Dorothy was a member of the Grant United Church of Christ where she served in many different positions. One of her greatest joys was to share the Lord with the young people in her Sunday School Classes. Visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at McKinley’s Funeral Home, Grant. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at the Grant United Church of Christ at 1:00 PM with burial in Parkview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers and per Dorothy’s wishes a Trust Fund has been established for David Dill at the Valley Ridge Bank. You may sign her online register book at mckinleyfuneral.com/obits.
