Mr. Erwin Colonel Knight, Age 90 of Newaygo died Tuesday, August 31, 2005 in Fremont.  He was born Erwin Colonel Knight in Olena, Ohio the son of Beulah Cronk (Bellamy) and Asa Colonel Knight on September 28, 1914.  He married Gladys Mae Southard on January 6, 1937 in Toledo, Ohio.  He was the Owner of KB & C Sales & Service in Newaygo until 1979.  He was a member of Norwalk, Ohio Masonic Lodge.  He is survived by his wife Gladys Knight of Newaygo; his daughter Ruth Chase of Newaygo; his granddaughter Robyn Chase of Grand Rapids ; his grandsons Russ Chase of Phoenix, AZ and Roger Chase II of Grant; 3 Great-grandchildren; his special friends Kim Trgina of Grand Rapids and George Rowell of Newaygo.  Per his wishes no services will be held.
