Mrs. Gladys M. Rathbun, age 84 of Ocala, Florida , formerly of Newaygo, died Saturday, May 21, 2005 in Ocala. She was born Gladys Marie Stypa in Manistee, the daughter of Josephine (Woraczynski) and Steven Stypa on July 6, 1920. She married Donald R. Rathbun on April 15, 1945 in Manistee, and he preceded her in death on September 2, 2001. She was a Homemaker all her life. She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church - Newaygo.

She is survived by her son David & Mary Rathbun of Ocala, FL, her granddaughter Kristine Bingelis, and her 4 great-grandchildren.,

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P. M. from the McKinley Newaygo Chapel, on Friday, May 27, 2005 with The Rev. Mary Frens officiating. Interment will be in Newaygo Cemetery.
