Mrs. Sharon Kay Hadley, Age 53 of Grant died Saturday, April 30, 2005 in Grand Rapids. She was born Sharon Kay Snieder in Grand Rapids, Michigan the daughter of Eunice Fern (Deur) and Arthur Snieder on April 05, 1952. She married John Hadley on August 8, 1998 in Grant, Michigan and he preceded her in death on June 28, 2001. She was a General Laborer for Challenge Manufacturing for 11 years. She was a member of V.F.W. Ladies Auxillary-Newaygo Post. She is survived by her daughter Carrie & Eric Rasmussen of Fennville, her son Jim & Julie Westbrook of Ravenna, her step daughter Amy & Curt Luther of Grant,her mother Eunice Snieder of Grant, her brothers Dale Snieder and Gary & Denise Snieder of Grant, her grandchildren Hope, Keith, Kyle, Connor Austin & Simon Rasmussen, James Jones, Spencer and Mason Westbrook. Her mother-in-law Wanda Hadley of Grant, her nephews Joshua Snieder and Michael Berger, her niece Melissa Berger. She was preceded in death by her husband John Hadley in 2001, her father Arthur Snieder in 1991, and her grandson Michael Westbrook in 1996. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM from the McKinley Grant Chapel on Tuesday, May 03, 2005 with the V.F.W. Chaplain officiating. Interment in Ashland Center Cemetery. Visitation 2-4 & 7-9 Monday. Memorials: V.F.W. Ladies Auxillary & Heartland Hospice.

Dear Carrie and Jim, I am so sorry to hear about your mom. It's been a very long time since I've seen your mom and you but she very special to me. She was a better mom to me than my own mother ever was and I will always be thankful for that. I will always hold a special place in my heart for her. I remember when I lived with you guys and worked third shift and your mom would not let me leave without a hug and a kiss and told me that she loved me. My own mother never told me that. I wished you would have trusted in my friendship so we would have never lost touch. Once again I'm very sorry for your loss. I wish I would have had the chance to see her again.
