Mrs. Shirley A. Hirner, age 74 of Grant, died Sunday, November 20, 2005 at her home in Grant Township. She was born Shirley Ann Osborn in Grant, the daughter of Minnie (Veach) and Howard Osborn on May 26, 1931. She married Robert William Hirner on May 23, 1975 in Seattle, WA and he preceded her in death on January 14, 1999. She was an Assembly Line worker for Boeing Aircraft, Seattle, WA until her retirement after many years.

She is survived by her sons Marshall Beals, Christopher Beals both of Grant, 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, her sisters & brother Betty Berwald of Sparta, Erma Jean Priest of Muskegon, Jerry & Shirley Osborn of Grant, Marian & Elroy Shaffer of Greenville, Carol & Fred Hug of Sparta. She was preceded in death by her son Roger Beals August 30, 1991.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P. M. from the McKinley Grant Chapel, on Wednesday, November 23, 2005 with Mr. David Joe Hatter officiating.
