Mrs. Wanda E. Murray, age 81 formerly of Bailey, died Monday, January 17, 2005 at her daughter's residence in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was born Wanda Eileen Kik in Sparta, Michigan the daughter of Gladys (Robinson) and Leonard Kik on May 11, 1923. She married Theodore Roosevelt Murray on December 10, 1943 in Bailey, Michigan and he preceded her in death on December 8, 2003. She was a Missionary for Mexican Mountain Mission for 41 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She is survived by her children Gloria & Dan Penwell of Chattanooga, TN, Ted & Mari Murray of Madison, Wisconsin, Gwen Murray of Kentwood, Juan & Selene Murray and David & Reyna Murray all Mexico, 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, and her brothers & sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M from the Bailey Christian Church, on Saturday, January 22, 2005 with Daren Penwell & Derek Penwell officiating. Interment will be in the Seaman Cemetery near Bailey. Visitation will be held 3-5 & 7-9 P. M. Friday at the Bailey Christian Church. For Memorials please consider the Mexican Mountain Mission.
