Ms. Guadalupe Hernandez, age 87 of Grant, died Monday, October 2, 2006 at Gerber Memorial Health Service in Fremont. She was born Guadalupe Hernandez in Mexico the daughter of Manuela (Nunez) and Pedro Hernandez on October 4, 1918. She was a Packer for Hersey Brothers, Casnovia. She was a communicant of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Newaygo.

She is survived by her sisters-in-law Tomasa Hernandez of Grant, Delfina Hernandez, Polin Hernandez both of Flint, neice Sanjuana Hernandez of Grant, many other neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Ramon, Miguel, Gilberto & Ventura Hernandez.

The Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11:00 A. M from the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Newaygo on Friday, October 6, 2006 with Father Thomas Boufford as Celebrant. Interment will be in the St. Bartholomew Cemetery in Newaygo. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9 P. M. Thursday at the McKinley Grant Chapel. For Memorials please consider the family.
