Mrs. Hazel F. Milligan, age 90 of Fremont, formerly of Grant, died Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility near Fremont. She was born Hazel Fern Barrett in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Goldie (Parker) and Clarence Barrett on November 9, 1915. She married Forrest Lee Milligan, in February of 1937 in Grand Rapids and he preceded her in death on 1991. She was a Homemaker all her life and was a member of the Sand Lake United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her sons Jack & Patsy Milligan of White Cloud, Robert Milligan of Newaygo, 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, and her sister Ruth Bouwhuis of Kentwood. She was also preceded in death by her son Forrest Milligan, Jr. in 2005.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 A. M. Saturday, October 28, 2006 from the Sand Lake United Methodist Church. The family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be in the Crandall Cemetery near Sand Lake.
