Mrs. Lillian E. Forker, age 73 of Newaygo, died Saturday, May 20, 2006 at Transitional Health Services near Fremont. She was born Lillian Eillen Botsford in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Beulah (Rook) and Lloyd Botsford on November 7, 1932. She married Merril Clayton Forker on September 16, 1963 in Comstock Park and he preceded her in death on June 30, 2004. She was a Machinist for General Motors, Wyoming, MI until her retirement in January, 1988. She was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church of Newaygo and was a member of UAW Local #167 .

She is survived by her daughters: Diana & Allando Collazo of Wyoming, Terri & Howard Maki of Newaygo, 4 grandchildren Emily, Cody, Michael & Alex, her brother Lloyd & Carol Botsford of Alabama, and several nieces & nephews She was also preceded in death by son Clayton in 1988.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M. from the St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, Newaygo on Wednesday, May 24, 2006 with The Rev. Mary Frens officiating. Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery near Grant. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
