Dear Jim, Joey, Josh, Anita, Bill and family, My heart aches for your loss of Angie. She was a strong and beautiful woman, and such an inspiration to me. Joey and Josh--from my vantage your mom was absolutely devoted to you both, with a fierce yet gentle, protective love. You both were her very first priority and she was an amazing mother! I hope you always remember how precious you were to her--she believed you both could do far more than you could imagine with her love lifting you. I have no doubt you will prove her right--her strength is part of you! And Jim, I'm so sorry you've lost your parenting partner and dear wife. She had so much confidence in your ability to care for the boys and love them through this loss, but I know it be lonely at times. You'll need to share your joys and sadnesses both with your families, and ask for what you need for you and the boys. I will help and encourage you in any way I can! And Anita and Bill, my sympathies for you and your family, too. Angie was a fun and devoted sister and daughter and I know her loss will leave a huge hole in your wonderful family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in the next days and months as you honor and remember Angie's very special life among you. She will remain in my heart as an exceptional person who did her very best to love life and those she loved. Blessings, and God's peace and courage, Marie Vander Linde

She gave it all she had... and then some. May that stregnth grow in those beautiful boys she and Jim made together. The Newaygo graduating class of 1982 held it's 25th year reunion Saturday afternoon- Sept. 8! Angie was able to be there with us in spirit. And oh was she there! She will never be forgotten and forever a part of our silly class! May you find comfort knowing she is laying on a cloud laughing with Alice, Phil or maybe even Mitch Culver and Amy Kemble.
