TO THE FAMILY OF LUCILLE WINICK: I AM SO VERY SORRY TO HEAR OF LUCILLES PASSING. SHE WAS VERY DEAR TO ME. MANY TIMES WE SAT OUTSIDE TOGETHER AT THE HOTEL AND TALKED OVER A HOT CUP OF COFFEE. WE SPOKE ALOT OF OUR FAMILIES AND HOW VERY BLESSED WE WERE. I FEEL VERY HONORED TO HAVE KNOWN LUCILLE. SHE ALWAYS LIFTED MY SPIRITS BY A COMPLIMENT OF HOW NICE MY HAIR LOOKED TO JUST A SIMPLE HUG AND SLAP ON THE REAR! SHE WAS GENUINELY A KIND, LOVING AND OPINIONATED WOMAN, FOR WHICH I ADMIRED GREATLY! I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE BIG HUG WITH TEARS IN MY EYES THE DAY I LEFT EMPLOYMENT AT THE HOTEL. THAT IS SOMETHING I WILL ALWAYS TREASURE.I HAVE LOST A CLOSE FRIEND AND I KNOW SHE WILL BE MISSED BY MANY! SINCERELY, SUSANNAH ( SUZY ) TANIS

My sympathies on the passing of Lucille, there was never a more perfect mother and friend to us all here in Croton. I'll miss her coming over to my garden and cutting my rhubarb I grew especially for her, for making her special recipe of delicious rhubarb sauce.

My Grandma was a very wonderful and strong woman! You will be missed so very much by all of us. My love for you will continue through all the great memories and there are so many of them. Thanks Grandma for all of them and when I think of you and all the funny things you'd say a SMILE comes to my face. :-) Your memory will live on through all of us.
