Mrs. Marcella M. Elias, age 92 of Grant, died Thursday, April 12, 2007 Newaygo Medical Care Facility near Fremont. She was born Marcella Mildred Wulliman in Bern, Indiana the daughter of Rachel and Levi Wulliman on September 6, 1914. She married Homer Glenn Elias on November 14, 1936 in Detroit. She was a Homemaker all her life. She was a member of Grant Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by her husband Homer Elias, her children Janice & Ronald Fletcher of Zeeland, David & Sandy Elias of Vicksburg, Doreen & Jeffrey Sheler of Norfolk, VA, Sheryl & David Brink of Grant, 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren & 2 more expected. She was preceded in death by grandson Brian Fletcher.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM from the Grant Wesleyan Church, on Wednesday, April 18, 2007 with Pastor Vernon LeFeber & Pastor Jonathan White officiating. Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery near Grant. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 7-9 P. M. Tuesday at Grant Wesleyan Church. For Memorials please consider the Grant Wesleyan Church. I have very fond memories of Mrs. Elias. I enjoyed the time I spent with them while doing her hair. While she was processing I would give Homer a hair cut. I give thanks for the prayer warrior she was for me and my family. Her understanding for the time I ran out on her when I got a phone call about one of my children. She has always been a kind and caring person. Her relationship with Homer has been an inspiration for me. I loved her and rejoice with her as she is now with her Lord and Savior.
