Mrs. Patricia Anne Barrett, Age 52 of Newaygo, Michigan died Thursday, December 6, 2007 in Grand Rapids. She was born Patricia Anne Schuelke in Grand Rapids, Michigan the daughter of Dorothy (Sherman) and Edward Schuelke on July 15, 1955. She married Daryl Robert Barrett on May 15, 1998 in Vista, California. She is survived by her husband Daryl Barrett of Newaygo; her children Jonathon Basinski of Whitehall; Keri Barrett of Newaygo; Shan & Chris Buell of Texas; 6 grandchildren; her brothers Ed & Judy Schuelke of Newaygo and David & Deb Schuelke of Florida. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM from the McKinley Funeral Home, Newaygo on Sunday, December 9, 2007. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Grand Rapids on Monday at 10:00 am. Visitation will be held 5-7 PM Saturday at the funeral home.

You have filled my life with much love and joy. Fun times and sad times, good times and bad times we shared. We hugged, held hands and prayed for each other. We loved her so very much and we are terribly sorry we could not make it to the service, we are in California due to the Military and could not get out there in time. Patti was like a mother to me and a grandmother to my children, we truely loved her immensly and she will always live on in our hearts and even in our daily activities. Please give the family our condolences and let them know we are with them in our hearts and spirit.
