Mrs. Patricia Ann Howell, Age 67 of Newaygo, died Thursday, September 27, 2007 near Newaygo. She was born Patricia Ann Howell in Flint, Michigan the daughter of Irene Mae (Hall) and Albert Howell on November 4, 1939. She was a boat landing manager for Four Seasons Landing on Hardy Pond near Newaygo. She is survived by her daughters Carla Tinsley of Newaygo; Theta Bacon of Hawthorne, NV; her sons William Skaggs of Tampa, FL; Albert Skaggs of Tampa, FL; Arthur Skaggs of Flint; 22 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; her brothers Jerry & Carol Howell of Zilwaukee, MI; Robert & Mel Johnson of Birch Run; her sister Mary & John Knack of Clio; her sister in law Bev Johnson of Birch Run; several nieces & nephews and many wonderful friends at Four Seasons Landing. She was preceded in death by her son Lawrence Skaggs; her father Albert Howell; her mother Irene Johnson; her step father Fred W. Johnson; her brother Fred Johnson, her niece Rachel Barnum and a long time friend Gordy Totten. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM from the McKinley Funeral Home, Newaygo Chapel on Monday, October 1, 2007. Visitation will start at noon and run until the time of the service. To the children of Patti Ann Howell,i am your mothers cousin,i lost contact with her when we were in our twenties. I tried to find her by calling aunt Irene in the 1980's,but she would not give me any information.I am so sorry it will never happen now.I had so many wonderful things to share with her,the opening of Clio center for the arts which i founded in 1983, and my newly published book.I would like to be a part of Patti's children's lives if i may,please contact me. I heard about this terrible news and I wanted to say how sorry I am about this.Well now she's in heaven looking down on everyone and holding spots for all of her loved ones.I remember running erans for her with Aprila nd going down to the landing to take her stuff.Oh wow and packing up th emotor home when the landing was closing.I have quiet a few memories.So sorry she had to leave but now she's in heaven resting with her loved one's and looking down on all of you.My email is amidavidson@inbox.com if you want to contact me Ami
