Dear Barnard Family -- All of you stand out in my memory right along with Walt. Please know that I am sorry for your loss of the head of the family. I have fond memories of Walt -- he was always so helpful around the Fremont rectory when something needed to be done--a great parishioner. I think the last time I saw him was at the visitation for F. Henry's funeral. Yesterday I turned 85, which is not a good age to be driving out to Newaygo, but you all were in my thoughts at the time of service. Love to all - one of my favorite families.
