Mr. Edward August Postmus, Age 96 of Newaygo, died Friday, January 25, 2008 at home.  He was born Edward August Postmus in Grand Rapids, Michigan the son of Carrie (Monje) and Andrew Postmus on December 10, 1911. He married Gertrude Meyering on August 7, 1935 in Grand Rapids and she preceded him in death on . He was a Supervisor for Michigan Bell until his retirement. He was a member of Michigan Bell Pioneers.  He is survived by his daughter Ruth & Stewart Oosting of Beaver, PA; his son Paul Postmus of Newaygo; his daughter Karen Johnson of Newaygo; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; his brother Arthur & Maxine Postmus of Grand Rapids; his sister Babe Brunink of Grand Rapids and several nieces and nephews.  Arrangements by McKinley Funeral Home, Newaygo 231-652-5613. http:\\mckinleyfuneral.com
