Mrs. Joan Fay Johnston, Age 67 of White Cloud died Monday, May 12, 2008 in White Cloud. She was born Joan Fay Epplett in Fruitport, Michigan the daughter of Lois (Schofield) and Richard Epplett on July 12, 1940. She married Claude Eugene Johnston on December 1, 1962 in Fruitport, Michigan and he preceded her in death on April 2, 2002. She was a homemaker. She is survived by her daughters Michell & Bowe Vincent of Cedar Springs, Sally Johnston of White Cloud, Patty & Glen, Jr. Blamer of Holton, Diane Johnston of White Cloud, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, her brother Gerald Epplett of Fremont, her sister Beatrice & Al Ashburn of Muskegon, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Claude Johnston, her daughter Betty Mittlestadt, and granddaughter Anastacia Johnston. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM from the McKinley Funeral Home, Grant Chapel on Thursday, May 15, 2008. Interment in Big Prairie-Everett Cemetery.
