Mrs. Katherine Josephine Bogaski, Age 91 of Newaygo died Monday, April 21, 2008 at her home. She was born Katherine Josephine Van Gessel in Grand Rapids, Michigan the daughter of Alice (Dutmers) and Gilbert Van Gessel on February 1, 1917.  She married Frank J. Bogaski on May 6, 1939 in Grand Rapids and he preceded her in death on June 17, 1979.  She was a nurse until her retirement in 1975. She was a member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church. She is survived by her son Dale & Adele Bogaski of South Hampton, NH.  She was preceded in death by her brother Gilbert Van Gessel and her sister Martha Morris.  The Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11:00 AM from the St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Newaygo on Friday, April 25, 2008 with Father Tom Boufford officiating. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Grand Rapids.  Visitation will be held 7-9 PM Thursday at the Mckinley Funeral Home in Newaygo. For memorials please consider Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission.
