Mrs. Nancy J. Talsma, age 69 of Newaygo, died Thursday, April 17, 2008 at Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. She was born Nancy Jane Moore in Cadillac, Michigan the daughter of Ruth Helga (Sorensen) and Albert Moore on July 16, 1938. She married Kent Talsma on June 9, 1971 in Grand Rapids. She was a Sewer for General Motors, Grand Rapids until 1989 retiring after 30 years. She was a member of Aberdeen Reformed Church, Grand Rapids and the UAW Local.

She is survived by her husband Kent Talsma, her daughter Jessica Pendergrass of Newaygo, her granddaughters Nicole & Nancy Pendergrass, her sisters & brothers Elizabeth & David Winn of Cedar Springs, Rickie & Dennis Helmus of Dorr, Sandra Doyle of Cedar Springs, Henry & Kathy Moore of Sunfield, Ronald & Patricia Moore, Edward Moore all of Indiana, David & Amanda Moore of Grant, several nieces & nephews.
