I am sending my sincere and heartfelt condolences to all of you. I have such fond memories of Uncle Hap and his great sense of humor. As I read the narrative above, I thought about how proud you must be of him and his legacy, as it is a rare person that can touch the lives of others in such a special way. Both Uncle Hap and Aunt Lois had a way of making people feel special by taking time to be there for them whether it was their graduation, wedding, or other important event, so I am especially sad that I am unable to attend this last special tribute to him. Please know that I am thinking of all of you during this time.

We were always so impressed with Herb & Lois' dedication to Newaygo Sports. Long after their kids were grown and gone they were there at nearly everything going on. Softball, baseball, basketball,(girls and boys) football, voleyball, track. WOW!! I can see Herb playing quarters with the young folks. Your family is in our Prayers,Love,Phil & Shirl
