Mrs. Dora B. Tomaras, age 83 of Howard City, passed away Monday, April 6, 2009 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility near Fremont. She was born Dora Bonita Brown in Benton Harbor, the daughter of Helen Estelle (Perry) and Sherwood Richard Brown on September 28, 1925. She was a Quality Control Auditor for Life Savers in Holland until 1992. She was a member of VFW Auxiliary of Grand Haven.
She is survived by her daughter Beth & Dick Kroll of Howard City, son Terry & Dana Tomaras of Whitehall, grandchildren Robb & Leanne Kroll of Howard City, Lisa & Rick VanDyk of Lowell, great-grandchildren Kattie & Robert Westgate of Newaygo, Kenneth Kroll of Howard City, brother Richard Brown of Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 PM, Saturday, April 11, 2009 from the Atrium of the Newaygo Medical Care Facility, 4465 W. 48th St., Fremont, MI 49412, 231-924-2020, with Pastor Kate Meyer officiating.
