Mr. De Wayne Lee Shattuck, Age 58 of Newaygo, died Thursday, February 5, 2009 in Newaygo. He was born De Wayne Lee Shattuck in Lansing, Michigan the son of Ardis Bea (Crandall) and Howard James Shattuck on January 9, 1951. He was a self employed carpenter until 2003. He is survived by his children Kirsten & Tim Telfore of Grant, Brandy Shattuck of Newaygo, Travis Shattuck of Twin Lake, 1 grandchild, his mother Ardis Shattuck of Twin Lake, his brothers Dale Shattuck of Fremont, Hugh Shattuck of Twin Lake, Brian Shattuck of Muskegon, his sisters Donna Shattuck of Muskegon, Diane Chance of Florida, Sharon Castle of Newaygo, Karen DeYoung of Grand Haven, Penny McGuire of Twin Lake, he was preceded in death by his father Howard Shattuck and his brother Dennis Shattuck. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM from the McKinley Funeral Home, Newaygo Chapel on Monday, February 9, 2009 with Pastor Doug Bennett officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 am to 11 am preceding the service. In lieu of flowers or plants, due to family allergies, please consider donating to the family towards the funeral expenses.
