Mrs. Shirley Delores Wish, Age 80 of Newaygo, died Tuesday, February 10, 2009. She was born Shirley Delores Malick in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Lillian (Nelson) and Michael Malick on January 31, 1929. She married John Wish on December 5, 1973 in Chicago, Illinois. She was an in home aide for Newaygo County Commission on Aging until her retirement. She was a member of Newaygo United Church of Christ. She waitressed for many years in Chicago. She was a member of the V.F.W. Post #4249 Auxiliary. She is survived by Husband John Wish of Newaygo, Daughter Carolyn Sheller of White Cloud, Daughter Penny & Michael Harvey of Las Vegas, Daughter Jackie & Eddie Pons of Florida, Daughter Adrienne & Charles Lockhart Illinois, 6 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, and Brother Ronald & Mary Malick of Illinois. She was preceded in death by; Son in law Douglas Sheller, Grandson Robert Dowell, Jr., Great Granddaughter Ashley Taylor, and Brother Harry Malick. Funeral services  will be held at 10:00 AM from the McKinley Funeral Home, Newaygo Chapel, on Friday, February 13, 2009. Interment at Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the McKinley Funeral Home, Newaygo Chapel from 5-7 PM Thursday, February 12, 2009. Memorials are to be directed to Northern Home Health Care and Bethany Christian Services.
