Colleen Kellogg

Mrs. Colleen Marie Kellogg, Age 81 of Newaygo, died Wednesday, September 16, 2009 in Fremont. She was born Colleen Marie Harris in Grand Rapids, Michigan the daughter of Marcella (Mitchell) and John Harris on December 7, 1927. She married James H. Kellogg on June 26, 1948 in Grand Rapids. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Christ the King Church, Howard City. She is survived by her husband James Kellogg of Newaygo, her children James Kellogg and Mary Cherney of Muskegon, Cindy & Mike Kiaunis of Grand Haven, Thomas & Shari Kellogg of Conklin, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, her brother John Harris of Walker, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sons Scott Kellogg and John Kellogg and her sisters Pat Stewart, Winifred Schmucker, and Virginia Ensley. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM from the Christ the King Church, Howard City on Saturday, September 19, 2009 with Father Ray Bruck officiating. Interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2‑4 & 7‑9 PM Friday at the McKinley Funeral Home, Newaygo. For memorials please consider the American Diabetes Association.
