Mrs. Evelyn Mae Mouthaan, Age 85 of Grant, died Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at home. She was born Evelyn Mae Woltjer in Grand Rapids, Michigan the daughter of Henrietta (Van Dyke) and Henry Woltjer on February 7, 1925. She married John Robert Mouthaan on July 31, 1947 in Grant, Michigan and he preceded her in death on April 25, 2008. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Grant Christian Reformed Church. She is survived by her daughters Debra & Carl Schuitema of Kent City, Jane & Wayne Chandler of Ravenna, her granddaughter Christina Chandler of Ravenna, her sisters in law MayReta Tibbe of Grant, Audrey & Walter Hodgkinson of Chicago, Emily & Morley Brummel of Fremont, and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brothers Chester Woltjer, Edward Woltjer, Robert Woltjer, and her sister Margaret Miller.  Funeral services  will be held at 1:00 PM from the Grant Christian Reformed Church on Friday, August 13, 2010 with Pastor Lucas Rodenhouse officiating.  Interment in Hillside Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday at the church.  For memorials please consider the Grant Christian School.
