Mrs. Gladys Yvonne Cushman, Age 80 of Grant entered heaven on Thursday, May 20, 2010.  She was born Gladys Yvonne Johnson in Grand Rapids, Michigan the daughter of Lucy Eleanor (Ellsworth) and Clifton Johnson on April 4, 1930. She married the love of her life Robert Cushman on April 24, 1948 in Ensley and he preceded her in death on November 19, 1984. She was a member of Ensley Baptist Church.  She will be lovingly remembered by her family as a loving, caring mother, grandmother and sister.  Gladys had an infectious smile which will be remembered by all who had the pleasure to meet her.  She loved first of all her family and flowers, horses, music and watching the birds at her bird feeder.  Family was always her first concern and she prayed for them daily.  She is survived by her children Wallene and Douglas Williams of Grand Haven, Cheryl Cushman of Grant, Jerry Cushman of Bull Frog, Utah, her grandchildren Carrie & Joshua Danek, Robert Williams, Phillip Williams, her great granddaughter Alyssa Yvonne Danek, her brothers Lewis and Audrey Johnson of Pierson, Judson and Linda Johnson of Sand Lake, Clifton and Judy Johnson of Howard City, her brother in law William and Arda Cushman, her sister in law Winfred Cushman, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Lylah Belle Cochrane.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM from the Ensley Baptist Church, Sand Lake on Thursday, May 27, 2010 with Pastor James Ankerberg officiating.  Interment in North Ensley Cemetery.   Visitation will be held Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the church.
